Arrows had been pretty much a “household” name in Formula 1 since its debut in 1978 with a long history of running down the order but sometimes produce a few incredible results with 9 podiums and no wins. Throughout its history in the sports, it also been the lauchnpad of famous names such as Gerhad Berger, and Riccardo Patrese. It was also famous for its crazy Arrows A2 and the failed Porsche partnership during its brief stint as Footwork or the famous moment when Taki Inoue being hit by a medical car at Hungary in 1995.

SPOILERS AHEAD I always enjoy a good film about motorsport. They’re almost always big dramatic films and rarely disappoint. Unless you’re talking about “Driven.” If you’ve never heard of that film then I envy you, but it stars Sylvester Stallone and that’s all you need to know. But staying on topic, motorsports films always leave a great feeling in the stomach. Also, before this gets started, I’m only including films about sanctioned motorsports, so no living life a quarter mile at a time. Sorry.

As anyone with a passing interest in cars can tell you, the BMW M3 is one of the biggest halos of car world, alongside the Golf GTi and Mazda MX-5. And yes, as I’m writing this, I’ve got CT’s M3 shootout playing in another tab. Can you tell I’m an M3 fanboy yet? Performance

MK1a (AW10) MK1b (AW11) “The MR2’s life began in 1976 when Toyota launched a design project with the goal of producing a car which would be both enjoyable to drive, yet still provide decent fuel economy. Initially, the purpose of the project was not a sports car. After three year delay, partially caused by the oil crisis, the actual designwork began in 1979 when Akio Yoshida from Toyota’s testing department started to evaluate different alternatives for engine placement and drive method. It was finally decided to place the engine transversely in the middle of the car.”

Hot hatches these days are getting to their absolute peak, with innovative design, radical engineering and styling to stand out from the norm. However, I think there’s some problems with these new trends, please allow me to explain-

During the heat of this summer, I have had some troubles keeping my 5.0 running smoothly. It would stumble and miss whenever the engine got up to temperature, occasionally stalling. I want to share my experience and solution with others who may encounter this problem.

Here I am, as your lord and saviour to finally answer the age-old question: if there happened to be cars in Middle Earth, the mystic lands from Tolkien’s famous saga, what would the characters in there drive?

BILSTEIN suspension has played a role in helping countless drivers and car manufacturers win all over the world, with rallying being a particularly fruitful hunting ground. One example of a driver who has competed with BILSTEIN hardware is Juha Kankkunen, one of the greatest rally drivers or all time and the focus of this feature. Kankkunen’s career spanned three of the most significant eras in World Rallying, beginning with Group B, progressing to Group A, before retiring on a high (and while still brutally fast) at the start of the World Rally Car era.

So, many of you have played a new game that’s going absolutely crazy on social media. It’s called Pixel Car Racer. But did you know that the art of pixelling cars goes a long way back?

If you look for a car that feels great on the road (and track), goes smooth around the corners and isn´t a Miata, this is the one. The Honda S2000 came 1999 on the market and was built until 2009, nearly without any changes. First the car was built in the manufacturing side Tochigi, which was first made for the Honda NSX, but later Honda manufactured the S2000 in Suzuka. Developed by chef engineer Shigeru Uehara, the car should serve to celebrate the 50th company anniversary.

None of us know what it is about the 5 cylinder that makes it so odd, yet evoking. May it be it’s unique, brash engine note, or its egregious commonality in todays car world. Today, I will discuss the story of the 5 cylinder!

#blogpost Hey CT! It’s Mainstream again and we have a blog post after a long time, this time we’ll be covering the cars with the best value for money in GTA V. I’ve seen very well written blog posts on the best and the worst cars in GTA, so it’s time for the ones with the most bang for the buck. Keep in mind that all these vehicles (on ground) are under a million dollars and are not in any particular order and are chosen on basis of looks, performance, price and relevance (if they’ll actually help you do something). Also, this is all my opinion

Modifying cars is a complete waste of money. There will always be something faster and better out there which is completely stock. So why do we pour all of our hard earned cash into this pointless past-time? Because it’s fun, and it’s what we enjoy, so we don’t mind spending a months wages on a set of coilovers. But modifying your car doesn’t necessarily have to be a complete money-pit. Here’s 5 tips on how you can save money while modifying your car. 1) Buy modified, sell stock

Thank you for clicking this post. I know it’s not a car related anime by all means. But, it’s a damn great plane anime. Directed by the Hayao Miyazaki, it is a must watch anime if you’re in to Studio Ghibli or any animated movies. If you didn’t know, Mr. Miyazaki is a plane enthusiast. He never wanted to make this movie because it was far from family friendly fantasy movies Studio Ghibli was famous for. He himself told that it was too plane oriented. But by popular demand, the concept became real. This is one of those “every scene is beautiful” anime.

Because it’s fun. That’s the main reason, but it goes much further than that and relates to your 1:1 scale car in a big way. If you’re one of the many people that think we’re talking here about playing with toy cars, you are absolutely correct but let’s put it into perspective. Unless your full size car is nothing but a practical vehicle you only use for practical applications then you own a toy. If you desire a fast fun car, then you desire a toy. I’m a firm believer that you don’t get older, your toys just get bigger.

As we’ve covered many, many times, the Mazda MX-5 is an extraordinarily good car in terms of handling, and it really isn’t much of a stretch to suggest that it has one of the best realised chassis ever sold by a mass market, volume car manufacturer. Of course there’s one downside to the MX-5’s diminutive size and light weight, and that’s a lack of storage space, a problem that’s made all the more acute when you factor in how fun a summer touring car the little roadster actually is.

Speaking of Ligier, you might think about the memorable win in 1996 Monaco Grand Prix, by the time Ligier was a midfield team which is unlikely to win a race nor championship, but back in the early days of the French team, it was one of the consider of the championship.

Whether you have a car, SUV or truck, getting a mud flaps for your vehicle is a must. What’s the dirty truth about mud flaps, you might ask? This automotive accessory helps prevent dirt and grime to reach sensitive parts of the vehicle specially the under carriage which is prone to rust and corrosion.

It may not seem obvious at first, but I, and many other CTzens, have reasons why the Z06 is NOT a muscle car. Here are some to name a few: - 1) The car is too technologically advanced: This may seem a bit stupid. But a muscle car must be a lump of steel, with simple technology and a big engine. Take the Mustang for example. Until the new model was released a couple years back, the car had a live rear axle! (This meaning both rear/drive wheels were constantly spinning at the same speed).

Ask the petrolhead community to name some open-top sports cars and chances are you will receive answers like the Mazda MX-5 (Miata if you are American or Roadster if you are Japanese), Toyota MR-2, Honda S2000, Porsche Boxster, BMW Z4 or a Lotus Elise. Heck, even the Fiat Barchetta and the Alfa Romeo Spider would get a mention each. We need more British contenders; I hear you say?

As I am typing this, I’m currently taking my 400 hp Shelby GT350R and making an attempt at the 4th “1000 miles!” event. It’s been a rough journey through the Ring’, Opera Paris and Cote D’azur, and Le Mans is proving no different. Trust me, it’s so hard to sit back, chill behind a fan and watch the entire Back to The Future trilogy at 11 at night. It’s a hard life working as a part time Driver/Mechanic/Accountant/Manager (and crew chief, which will explain how I’m typing all this sarcasm and racing at the same time), but it’s all worth it when you’re playing Gran Turismo 4.

I know we’re only slightly past halfway throught the decade, but the way things are going, the petrol engines we know and love are starting to reach their twilight years. V12s are being swapped for V8’s, V8’s to 6’s and 6’s to 4’s and 3’s. In a time where manufacturers and bean counters are favouring utmost efficiency and low emissions, let’s take a step back and celebrate some of the best engines we’ve seen over the past 6 years, stretching back to 2010 thru 2016.

For a long time I have dreamed of two things - having a nice, rear wheel drive car and doing something interesting to one. Both of those came into existance when I bought this 1999 BMW 328Ci.
