First up, a brief history of Pagani: It was founded by Horacio Pagani, a former employee of Lamborghini. The company originally destined itself to the carbon fibre research, later it derived to cars, presenting their first car, the Zonda C2, in 1999. The Cinque is up next. Born as a special project for a Hong Kong Pagani Dealer, “SPS”, that was produced in only five pieces that all were sold (of course).

The Trans Am series or Trans-American Sedan Championship started out in 1966 with two distinct classes: Under 2L and over 2L. Both classes had to be production car based. The under 2L class was dominated by light cars like Alfa Romeos and Lotuses. The over 2L class however contained the common American Muscle cars of the era, although some would argue that many of the cars run were pony cars and not muscle at all. The series was run entirely on road courses, creating unique challenges for the manufacturers in trying to lighten their cars and keep them from breaking.

No, there is no sensationalizing with that headline.
Trucks

So, what is it? The Bro Truck is a phenomenon that has infested the Southeastern United States. It’s everywhere, except offroad where 4X4s truly belong. It’s given lifted trucks a bad reputation, and has become the extreme stance of the truck world: blamed for everything and hated by lots of people. The Trucks Bro trucks are all about looking tough. This means huge lifts, aftermarket grilles, wide black and chrome wheels, aggressive low-profile tires, and enough aftermarket LEDs to light up Tokyo for a week.

Karl Jochen Rindt was born on April 18, 1942, in Mainz, Germany. He was orphaned as an infant when his parents were killed in a bombing raid. His grandparents adopted him and brought him to Graz, Austria. He was a clever and youngster who enjoyed defying authority, he continiously found ways to indulge in his passion for speed and competition - preferably allied with danger. Twice he broke limbs in schoolboy ski races and when he switched to motorized sport, at first on a moped and then on a motocross bike, he either crashed or won.

Rastar sent me a package few days ago and I literally had no idea what was inside. I opened it after finishing my lunch and I was delighted to see a 1:14 McLaren P1 GTR sitting inside the box. I had been waiting for this car for 2 years and it was just in front of me. I uncaged the monster carefully and was surprised because I had no idea that an R/C car could be that well made.

Honestly what is it? Is it an emotion that is evoked when driving? But it’s not quantifiable. To me personally is when I am happy because I am driving. But why am I happy? why are you? why are we happier when we drive a certain car or happier when driving on a certain road? As an engineer I try to quantify everything and this is my take on it. From a drivers perspective a car is a drivers car when it has good handling, decent power and involvement.

Hey guys, it’s been a while since I’ve uploaded Part 2, but I had to study for university, so not much time for car-related researches. Anyway, here is Part 3 (Vans only). Note: I know these cars aren’t ‘that’ fast but they’re still vans. It’s not in their nature to be fast. #10 Mercedes-Benz V 280 (W 638) (as suggested by A.Jelinak) Engine Layout: 2.8i VR6 NA Engine Code: VAG AAH Power: 128 kW / 174 PS Torque: 237 Nm Drivetrain Layout: FWD, 5 speed manual Vmax: unknown

Hello CTzens and welcome to this blogpost of mine. Today I’m covering 5 ways of modding VW Beetles that are common, yet change the basic idea of the car. As Deadpool, the CTzen who gave me the idea for this, mentioned, ways that make it less than 50% of a Bug haha. So, let’s get right into the Bugs! #1 Subaru Engine Swaps Engine swaps have been a thing ever since petrolheads exist. They’re done by enthusiasts who want to get more power in their car without having to upgrade their current engine. A bit of a shortcut. Or is it?

Let’s be perfectly clear right now. There are lots of very fast cars on the market, and they are all very good in one way or another. But the Mistubishi Lancer Evolution is different from those cars. It’s in a higher class. Driving it is an addiction.

Without a doubt the Chrysler PT Cruiser is one of the most hated American vehicles there is. I’ve yet to see a “top ten worst cars ever” list without the car in at least the honorable mentions. Yet almost every time I see/meet/talk to someone bashing on them I always ask them “Have you ever ridden in one, owned or driven one?”. The answer is always an aghast variation of “I would never be caught dead in one” or something involving “lel kil urself”.

Imagine a man. A man with 3 time F1 world champion wins. A man who has been in a terrible racing crash, but still continues his legendary racing career. A man who decided to become an airline owner and pilot after his prestigious racing career. And a man who saved the lives of millions who fly the skies today. You might think that this “man” isn’t human, but is the literal equivalent of God himself. But he does exist. And he is still alive today. His name is Niki Lauda.

Cast your mind back to the late 70’s, and you wanted something that could be driven around town during the week and able to tow your boat along the dunes on the weekend. What would you get? You’d probably be looking at something like a Range Rover, Chevy Silverado, Ford F-Truck, Nissan Patrol or a Toyota Landcruiser. Depending on where you live, some of these might not be available without bags of money. For the average Australian, a Silverado or F-Truck fully imported and converted to RHD would cost upwards of $120 000AUD in today’s money!
