BMW high performance line, better known as ///M range, was founded in 1972 to create racing cars that were able to compete in the most exigent motorsports. The first car that was developed by ///M was the 3.0 CSL, also known as Batmobile due to the shape of the rear end and its wing.

As kids we used to create our own fantasies in our minds; Little planets where everything was possible for us and that nobody could get there to destroy them. Those places were sacred, and the only way how we could bring them to the reality was through our toys which, even if were our parents the ones who bought them, we had the authority to decide who and how could use them. The sense of belonging that we had with them was strong enough to establish bonds as solid as the ones that most of us would have for our own cars.

We have already learned about the classic Subaru engines from the EJ series and we have understood the generallity of how are those engines labeled. But it is a fact that time passes and is important to keep updated with the new developments.

Sometimes people make a wish list that might contain all the goals and objectives that they want to get in a period of time. On this list, is possible to find that people write down things like: get married, have a beautiful family, end my career, visit other countries, write a book… And most of these wishes fit for each person on a different way according to their lifestyle. Here I made a list of events that you might find useful to include on your life plan.

When Subaru and Toyota released the BRZ and the GT86 most of the gearheads hyped about this idea and felt excited for the fact of having the marvels of the subaru’s flat-four engine mixed with the charm of the rear wheel drive. Even if it did not have a turbo, or if it was not as powerful as some vehicles that could be found on the market, the idea of driving a car for fun rather than for being the first came back to the minds of many gearheads.

As some might know Subaru stands out for their boxer engines that are installed in their flagship vehicles; The Impreza, the Legacy, the Outback, the Forester, the Tribeca, and their most recent creation the BRZ have one of those. However not every Subaru is the same. Each of the models mentioned above has different engines and depends on its version that the engine is designed for different purposes. They do not only change on the number of the cylinders as some have four cylinders and others have six.

All the big japanese car brands have released a performance car that has become an icon: Mazda has the RX7, Toyota offered the Supra, Mitsubishi and the recently ‘deceased’ the Lancer Evolution, Nissan have given us the GT-R range for many years, and a reborned Honda: the NSX.

Supercars and luxury vehicles are the kind of products that only a few with deep pockets can acquire. Usually this kind of customers do not feel happy with the cars as they are offered at the dealership, so they prefer to ask for the personalization options that might include special colours, dashboard trims, kind of leather and in some cases different performance packages. However there are also some clients who are even more eccentric and would rather pay more for products that nobody else can get.

I love the sound of a proper exhaust note when driving in a nice sportscar. However as a big fan of blues and classic rock, I think that going for a long roadtrip without listening some good themes will not give an ideal experience as we would expect.
