The beginning of the 21st Century. Generation Z. The noughties. Whatever you want to call it. The 199X years have ended, and people have just about woken up from their hangovers after Y2K and ready to get to work.

Alfa Romeo has always been known to be a performance-oriented car maker with a prominent presence in the world of motorsport both in and out of the tarmac, and that has no doubt had a significant influence in their share of the mass-produced market.

(As a response to a blog challenge by fellow CTzen and friend Chadkake, I have decided to make an article of my own on a small list of lousy qualities that all Japanese cars seem to share.)

They say, “Things grow better with age.” The same can be said with many prominent cars in the automotive world. Like ginseng, fine liquor and Jennifer Aniston, famous cars that were great since birth managed to keep it’s stellar reputation as 10 out of 10s that they are among aficionados, and definitely for good reason.

Take a moment to ponder about what makes a car enthusiast a car enthusiast; it seems as though you must like performance cars and only performance cars to be entitled a “proper car enthusiast”. But that should not be the case.

When people hear about “muscle cars”, automatically, most would think about the big brash, American V8 grumblers. Mustangs, Camaros, Chargers, HEMI’ Cudas, and the like.

Being a car enthusiast is great. You feel universal carmaraderie (lol) among fellow enthusiasts, willing to share tales of car adventures, mechanical advice, culture, and basically all sorts of topics, hence, CarThrottle was born.

As petrolheads, we all have our own perspectives and philosophies when it comes to being one, no?

Its the 1990s. A fantastic era of revolutionary sports cars that practically blew the minds of almost every automotive journalist during the time.

We petrolheads of course love machines that have an engine and four wheels and a specific driving layout to boot. We got rear wheel drive, all wheel drive, and last but certainly not the least front wheel drive.

First of all, I am really big into the Japanese car scene (my favorite car brand is Toyota FYI), and I know I’m not the only one.

Being a petrolhead is really an awesome thing. Not so if you’re born in a country that has all the elements to contradict your passion for automobiles like the country I was born in, South Korea.

Hello everyone! This is my CT Testimony and I’m going to tell you how I joined this amazing petrolhead website and how I like it now. I’ll try to make it short but solid. Here I go.
