I’ve been 100% mobile for the past 9 years and have been looking for a quality box to transport and organize my tools. (Similar to a “Pelican Case” for my camera equipment.) My long time friend and car guy, Sean Ackerman from TOOLNUT.com, recommended the Milwaukee Packout system and it has be amazing for organizing and protecting my tools. I asked Sean for a box like this for a 2 years. Finally it’s here!

AMMO Hydrate is one of my favorite products because it is designed to correct a major problem I was having on extremely rare painted surfaces. I discovered that improperly DRYING your car caused just as many scratches, as improperly washing your car. So I needed to figure out a better (ie…safer) way to remove water from the surface of delicate paint because traditional methods (squeegee, water blade, and old chamois) were effective at removing water, but introduced unnecessary scratches during use.

Wax your car at night time to avoid missing any spots. My detailer’s trick is to use a single source of light to spot any wax residue that might get left behind. This decreases any chances of missing a section.

Today I’m traveling to Pittsburgh, PA for the day to inspect a Ford GT before a potential purchase for a client. Lots of research was done prior to my trip, but I need to verify the fact in person before giving my recommendation or encouraging the buyer to walk away. Let me know your thoughts…should it be a buy or a walk? (based solely on condition. Price is obviously still remains to be determined) For more info and videos visit http://www.AMMONYC.com

This Ferrari is a good friend and customers car that was flown in the night before from the UK. It needed a bit of work to get it looking presentable again, and after a 2 day restoration… shouldn’t need anything more than layers of sealant and wax for the rest of its life. (if cleaned and maintained properly in the future) This video shows you what I’m thinking about as I restore a $1 million car, and how understanding the interaction between different materials will effect the outcome of your work.
