It is a general fact that many Porsche purists and enthusiasts view the 996-generation Porsche 911 as the lowest point in the 911’s lifespan. Their reasoning for this verdict stem from the hideous headlights, the infamous intermediate shaft’s ball-bearing failure, and the sacrilegious swap to water-cooling.

Driving is a liberating sense that makes us feel free out on the open road. Driving is bliss that makes us enjoy the scenery around us and gives us time to relax. Driving is so much more than going from one point to another; it is about the segment that is between those two points, which is filled with curves, straights, and stop signs.

“Life, like a child, laughs, shaking its rattle of death as it runs.”

Some say that things get better with age, and in an era where Moore’s Law is beginning to appear slower than technology’s pace, that statement holds true. Pixels, which used to be large blocks that took up a screen, are now divided so finely that one can’t even realize how small they are.

Both forms of forced induction that we know of, superchargers and turbochargers, are naturally flawed in some respects.
