Everyone knows that I’m selling my Subaru by now, right? I’ve decided to get something at least 500 pounds lighter. A few things of note: I’m mostly interested in FF cars. I like stylish cars. I want something with a good aftermarket. Reliability is preferred but not mandatory. German cars are too expensive to maintain in my region. This is a track-build, so I don’t care about interior fixings etc. I’m yanking everything that’s unnecessary anyways.

Hey guys! Today, I want to talk about the simple racing line, but in the most depth I have ever found in any article, ever. I will draw from real life experiences and examples. I will draw from racing simulator videos, too, because there are examples of things to be studied from even tracks which don’t actually exist in real life, but which can be used as better-than-real-tracks for the examples of things I want to teach.

Hey guys! Welcome to my third edition of #MGtBD - which will be a continual series on how to prepare the people of CarThrottle for track day driving and racing scenarios. I’m starting off with basics, fun things, and things which teach with little danger to the car and driver/spectators. Even so, though, this sort of driving is best reserved for tracks, closed roads, or closed parking lots. Contrary to what some people may believe, I am interested in far more than just rally. While I love rally, I cannot help but love IMSA Weathertech series. I have followed the series for years. The racing is fun and interesting. The cars sound cool (but I miss the three rotor RX-8s, spitting fire and screaming around the track so loudly that they shake your bones from kilometers away) and the styling is fantastic.

Before reading: some of the photos were taken on my old camera, with a broken lens. We got it for free, please don’t mind. I can’t take up-to-date photos, because the car is gone (sold) I know what you’re probably thinking… “Woah, that’s so lame! A race car made from a Hyundai Accent?” You would be right without considering something very important about racing… Balance of Performance and Performance Adjustment Factor.

The title is true. This happened. I went to the Bruce Peninsula of Ontario. I found a closed road. I went on the closed road and made many videos and whatever. But, as the night went on, I began pushing too hard, trying to have as much fun as possible and learn as much as possible.

Many people often ask me a seemingly harmless question: “why did you get your WRX?” Otherwise, the other question I get is “Why didn’t you get an STi?” or the similar “why didn’t you get an Evo?” Well, to answer this question truthfully, and in expansive detail, I’m writing this article… But first, a quick review of how it came to be…

Hey guys! So, as I .mentioned before, I have decided to begin to pass on my knowledge of advanced driving techniques with tangible, practicable techniques that you can also utilize depending on your interests. I’ll start with something that I don’t honestly believe anyone on CarThrottle has mastered, not even myself entirely (though I practice every day I can!)
