I was thinking about this the whole time when writing the quiz
The Fuel symbol looks like a Gen-2 iPod
Can confirm the ESP one. When mine lights up, I’m shouting “DIOS MIO”.
#4: The parking brake symbol has a “P” instead of “!” (which is a general brake warning light, but is sometimes used for the parking brake). Using both symbols (one for parking brake and one for general brake warnings) is still very common.
#6: While it is also used to display glow plug fault (stays on while engine is running) it usually indicates the pre-heating process (ignition ON, wait until this light turns OFF and then you start the engine).
Just a bit of info for both the quiz takers and the quiz makers :)
Yeah #6 I was like, I thought it meant pre-heating
#4: in many countries, “ (!) “ is used for the parking break. There is no “ (P) “ symbol in the UK, for example.
My car is from 1999, so I’m not surprised I only got 3/8. I probably only have two of these options lol.
5/8
6/8 although the glow plug one. It’s not necessarily if they need replacing simply of they are on
I rate this quiz 5/7
5/8 well to be fair my car only got 1 of the warning lights shown in the quiz XD
Do car (diesel) engines even have glow plugs?
Yes. A glow plug is a major component of a Diesel engine.
