Ideal engine for me:
Naturally aspirated V10 with no more than 5.5L of displacement and highest redline possible (like 9500 or 10000 rpm), between 450 and 550 horsepower
Also I’m a big fan of Porsche’s flat-sixes
And I kind of like 1.6-2.0L 4-cyl petrol engines for daily use and performance-oriented hybrids
