10 Awful Cars We're Happy Are Dead
The guys from The Fast Lane Car have put together another top 10, this time looking at a load of deceased cars we hope are gone for good
Personally, we reckon the Trabant has enough charm to overcome its awfulness (and the later models with the VW engines aren’t quite as bad), but otherwise, this looks like a solid list.

But 2 stroke trabants are rally monster since they are lightweight , they are pretty appreciable , not our fault if you can’t make a proper oil/fuel mix . They’d probably bash rotaries for that reason
Ahhh… the good old Aztec.
What bugs me is when context is dropped to make a choice - the Trabant was a great car in context, and that context brings it that charm. Americans only go to the Trabant because they don’t know about the 70’s and 80’s Skoda… or the Austin Allegro.
The Austin Allegro. A car that if you jacked it up in the wrong place, the chassis would twist and the rear window pop out.

Come on, a Trabant is the automotive equivalent of a little puppy, that cannot even stand on it’s own legs, but you just got to love. You don’t hate a pups just because it’s kinda useless, do you?

The only plus of the Tribeca is that, when the engine’s equipped with a Garrett turbo and a manual ‘box in, say, a Liberty shell, you get an absolute rocket ship.
