The 10 Coolest CT Garage Cars Of The Last 7 Days

More incredible, interesting and downright cool cars have been uploaded to the CT Garage in the last seven days. These are the ones that caught our eye most!

Popular YouTube car detailer, Larry Kosilla, uploaded his fully rebuilt, track-ready 964 last week. The car features a reworked engine, six-point harnesses, a roll cage and Sparco racing seats. Hit the link to Larry’s CT Garage where you’ll find a great track build video.

Let’s start off by saying “wow!” CTzen Thomas’ 370Z is no show pony, however. According to him, ‘I take it to the track every month and have a better experience every time,’ which is exactly what we love to hear. Mods include full suspension and brake upgrades, home-made canards, a Battle Aero wing and a custom exhaust. Check out his gallery for some lovely action shots!

Audi Quattros are very rare to see in the CT Garage, but in the space of three days, two of the things were uploaded; the car you see here and this weapons-grade-cool black Quattro that was owned by CTzen Mike Jones.

Because we like to stick to currently-owned cars for these write-ups, we’ll focus on the white car you see here. Owner Noa tells us that his newly-acquired UrQuattro has 190,000km on the clock and that more pics will be uploaded very soon. C’mon, Noa, we’re waiting!

What car do you buy if you’ve sold your Miata but pop-ups and RWD are life? If you’re anything like Josue, then the answer is Porsche. Incredibly, he sold his Miata for $4500 and bought this ‘87 944 for $3900. The car comes with 29 years-worth of maintenance records and is completely stock bar a cat delete. Well played, sir!

Representing the USA, we have Cameron’s 1973 Dodge Challenger. Features of this popular CT Garage car include a cammed 440 Magnum engine, an Offenhauser intake manifold, and a Mopar B-Body rear axle. The car needs a new clutch, but apart from that, it looks to be in great shape and is certainly well looked after.

It would be an understatement to say that the MX-5/Miata was a popular car on CT. A lot of CTzens own these cars (and quite rightly so, because they’re too damn awesome), but very few look anywhere near as impressive as this. And with an impressive-looking car comes an equally impressive build list courtesy of owner Dave Parker.

Included on the spec list are many upgrades that I’ve done to my own MX-5, such as a TR Lane half roll cage with harness bar, a Torsen Type2 LSD (mine is being fitted to Phil next week) and coilovers, plus cool styling extras like Wasp Works wings and rear overfenders, a vented headlight cover and a Garage Vary front splitter. Be sure to look at the full list of mods, because this car has got #goals written all over it!

Okay, this is the last German car on this list, I promise! Michael Davis is the proud owner of this 2002, and although his account isn’t too detailed (‘Big cam, big compression ratio, big carb, neat suspension’), it’s clear from the additional pics and info in his comments section that he’s an attentive and knowledgable owner. What’s more, there’s also an E24 on the driveway, so it seems that Michael’s BMW love runs deep.

When Fredrik bought his 1972 Plymouth Duster at the tender age of 18, little did he know that he’d spend 10 years restoring the car. In the summer of 2015, the Duster was finished to the high standard that you see now. The car that Fredrik learned to drive in now features Mopar suspension, an Edelbrock intake manifold and eBay headers. Check out more of the car at the link!

Now for something of the two-wheeled variety; this MV Agusta Brutale belongs to Slovakian CTzen IceOne01, and with 140hp on tap (and a kerb weight of 169kg), we can only imagine how devastatingly fast this bike would be in a straight line (it’d probably make Adnan’s recently-acquired 660bhp GT-R look like a donkey). Take a look at IceOne01’s CT Garage upload for more pics and a quick walkaround video.

Rounding off this list of cool cars on a serious high is Thomas Pinheiro’s sub-zero-cool BRZ. It’s got a Rocketbunny V1 kit alongside genuine STI lip and skirts, a Seibon hood and trunk and sits on Forgestar F14 super deep concave rims.

Thomas tells us that more pics will be uploaded soon, so we’re looking forward to seeing a lot more!

How do you add cars to Garage?

Hover your mouse over your icon in the top right corner. A drop down menu will appear, and you go down to “Account”. Click that, and it will open up your account as if you were going to edit it. At the top, under the CarThrottle banner is a list of tabs. On the far right there is the garage. Click that, and there will be a big yellow link that says “Add a new car”.

Only recently started using Car Throttle, found the garage feature and thought it was neat. Didn’t expect to be featured on one of these posts. I think I should spend a little bit more time around here.
