The 10 Coolest CT Garage Cars Of The Last 7 Days

Another week of CT Garage uploads has revealed a bunch of cars we'd drag ourselves naked through broken glass for. Here are the ones that caught our eyes and imaginations most!

Wow…damn…WTF…is this the real life? These are just a few reactions to Dhruvil’s Miata, which I’d be inclined to call ‘the most unique Miata in the world.’ Sadly, there are no details of the build (yet), but looking at the multiple race track images, this little car takes zero prisoners. The bumper-less front-end screams aggression, while the rear, with its because racecar wing and unique taillights shout ‘yeah buddy, you just got REKT!’

Dhruvil, if you’re reading this, we need to know this car’s story immediately. The future of hairdressing depends on it!

Anyone looking for FR-S/BRZ/GT86 inspiration needs to check out Hamza’s build. On the list of mods (it’s a damn long list so check it out yourself) are Datsun 240Z (ZG) flares, a single-exit exhaust, Eibach suspension, 18-inch Forgestar F14 wheels and some small engine upgrades to boost this car’s power to around 240hp. The car looks amazing, so hats off from all in the CT office!

It’s refreshing to see such an early Golf/Rabbit GTI in what looks like great shape. It’s also awesome to see such a good example without many mods at all. The bumper deletes add to the car’s cool factor and reduce weight. Win win.

From a clean Rabbit, we move to swiftly on to a super-clean Honda S2000. Owner Chris has had the car for around three years, and in that time, he’s left the car’s lines untouched. Sure, the ride height’s been dropped by a few inches and the car now sits on sexy rims, but the elegance and sex appeal hasn’t been messed with. A car like this really proves that sometimes less is more and it makes me think that I should maybe remove some stickers…

(Thought about it. Instructions unclear. Added more stickers).

This might look like a normal Tuk Tuk, but a few key mods have been made, namely an engine upgrade from 50cc to 135cc and new coilovers at the rear with retention springs to stop the wheels from lifting off the ground. You’ll also spot wider rims and tyres.

This mini Ape might well be the slowest and least powerful car on this list, but it’s almost certainly the most fun to hoon!

The BMW 8-series will go down in history as one of my all-time favourite designs, so you’ll have to excuse a little bit of bias. Still, Craig’s 840ci Sport Individual was a hugely popular car even without my intervention, and this car in question has been in his family for over 10 years. Judging by the pics he’s uploaded, this BMW-mad family look after their cars, which probably explains why this shark-nosed beauty only comes out in the summer time.

There’s unfortunately only one pic to see here and very little info, but we’ll give Michael the benefit of the doubt. This devilishly handsome Datsun sits nicely on gold wheels and has a turbo nestled under the hood.

Michael, do your car some justice and upload some more pics and give us the info we need!

We see a lot of Skylines, Imprezas and Supras in the CT Garage, so it takes a very special car (and plenty of pics and information!) to make it to the ‘Coolest CT Garage Cars’ list.

Joel’s Supra is no exception. The car has had a lot of time and money thrown at it, not that you’d notice too much from the outside. As Joel says:

This is my main hobby car that I’m tinkering with and I bought it about 2.5 years ago when it was stock. I made it into a BPU car until I blew the stock turbos and building started from there. It’s very stock still from outside because I firmly believe power is more important compared to looks.

Make sure you take a proper look at the extensive list of mods and a couple more pics.

Stepping away from production cars now, this badass-looking Exocet Sport features a 525hp LS376 V8, a 2002 F-body T-56 transmission and a Cadillac CTS-V 3.23 rear differential. The weight of this thing with fluids is 1696 pounds (769kg), which gives it one hell of a power-to-weight ratio! Hit the link where you’ll find more pics and a short video.

To balance this list out, we thought it only fair to end with a Honda. This particular FXX model is due to get a minor engine upgrade in the form of an LS engine with a bolt-on turbo kit. As you can see from the pic, it sits pretty low to the ground and probably scrapes at 250mph. Still, as CTzen Steve Woodgate rightly says, “this thing looks like it’d chop anything in its path.”

We look forward to seeing what cars and bikes get uploaded to the CT Garage next (brownie points for lots of info on your car)!
