Did someone here change his head with another body part? As much as I love Alfas, but calling a Twin Spark a good engine is a joke. You ain’t got nothing on a Busso boy. Do yourself a favor and get educated @ Darren…

Giuseppe Busso’s creation should never even be placed on the same planet as the Twin S#$te…

I think you haven’t seen a good TS engine.
sure, it’s not in the same level as the Busso, but it’s not that bad.
it’s pretty good if you know how to took care of it.

All hail to Volvo!! The 14 year-old 5 cylinder turbo on my S60 is a beast to behold! it loves to rev and give out enormous amounts of torque!

Brother has a Alfa 156 1.8 twin spark. Pretty good engine if you ask me. For a naturally aspirated 1.8 ccm it’s a fairly strong engine even by todays standards. Can’t even understand why are people considering buying diesels. For me an Alfa Romeo must run on petrol!

Still feel the vw 1.9tdi pd engine deserves a spot, runs forever and can be tuned for some great usable mid range power. But it will always be over looked by CT beings as it’s a diesel engine.
