10 Things You Shouldn’t Say To A Motorsport Fan
Whether motorsport fans like the FIA World Endurance Championship, F1, rally or Nascar, there are some things people really shouldn’t say to them!
1. “They just go around in circles”
2. “Why do all the cars look the same?”
3. “Football is way more exciting”
4. “The cars don’t even go that fast”
5. “But driving is pretty easy”
6. “What’s the point in this?”
7. “(insert motorsport series) is stupid”
8. “They just sit there and drive”
9. “This is boring”
10. “Why do people watch this?”

“anyone can do that”
“This isn’t even a sport”
“You only watch it for the crashes”
Haha yes
Sky and itv didn’t exactly help this argument considering both of their adverts were basically a crash compilation for f1 this year. 😂
“How can you call them athletes”
I mean, if you look up the definition of an “athlete” everyone from football players to e-sports players, drivers and navigators and even chess players fall under it
Dat happened to me once …
“The cars are way too loud”
“What’s up with stupid sticker job?
“What time is it”
“ My Prius is faster “
This says it all really. Drivers, especially F1 drivers, are tougher than almost any other athlete.
‘It isn’t the same, you’re comparing two different things.’ But we didn’t start…
I would say rallying is tougher, especially in the older days were events would go on for like a week..
Yep, think of Niki Lauda, his accident was horrific and he basically was destroyed internally and externally from being trapped in an inferno for over a minute and he was back racing again in 40 something days. Footballers take months off from basically a graze in comparison to what happened to Lauda.
I have this argument every time there is an F1 race with my brother, who is football mad
Unpopular opinion: baseball players are better all around athletes than racecar drivers
I don’t know what to say to this post. Just.. Good job!
“Where is the Ferrari 911 Veyron?”
