100 Yellow Cars Turn Up To Support Owner Of 'Photobombing' Corsa
Since having his yellow Vauxhall Corsa vandalised amid complaints of it spoiling the view of a picturesque English village, 84-year-old Peter Maddox has been on the receiving end of an outpouring of Britishness.
There’s been a kickstarter set up to help repair the damage to his car, Vauxhall has renamed one of its colours ‘Maddox Yellow’, and now this. A 100-strong convoy of yellow cars rolled through his home - the village of Bibury - in a show of support on Saturday. Gets you right in the feels, no?
The convoy might have been even larger, but was capped at 100 in the interests of safety. The cars ranged from humble Corsas like Maddox’s, through to a Lancia Delta Integrale and even a Lamborghini Gallardo.
Maddox was said to be “overwhelmed” by the show of support. The man’s bright yellow Corsa first hit headlines in 2015, after complaints from tourists who said it was ‘spoiling’ the view of the National Trust-owned Arlington Row cottages.
In February, the driver’s side window and rear windscreen of the Vauxhall were smashed, and the word ‘move’ was scored into the bonnet. At the time, Maddox said he’d replace it with something finished in lime green, although he ended up purchasing a grey one, amid fears of further vandalism.

There should be a car that could annoy other locals, especially who vandals the guy’s car:
Fire Spitting cars.
Anyone watching this with their siblings probably left the village with incredibly bruised arms.
