1. Audi R8 (second generation)

The car that inspired the question. These photos make the new Audi R8 looks like a slightly portly version of the Audi TT. However, over my two days driving one at the car’s launch in France last week I fell in love with its aggressive, angular design. In real life, it looks much longer, pointed, and purposeful than it does in any photograph I’ve yet seen. It’s especially gorgeous in darker colours.
