1100bhp Chevy Nova Pulls A Beautiful 400ft Wheelie
Meet the Crusty Nova. Underneath its pattina-infused paintwork, it's rocking a 6.0-litre LS V8 with twin 62mm turbochargers. Even running a totally stock crank, it develops 1100bhp - more than enough to launch this heap of old American iron skywards when the loud pedal is flattened.

Yet he keeps his foot in, stares out the sky, and rides out a 400ft wheelie on the way to an 8.76sec quarter-mile run, at 156mph. The official timing rated the Crusty Nova at 1.39sec over the first 60ft of the track - all on two wheels.
