This 12 Year Old Kid Has More Ferraris Than You [UPDATE]
Meet 12 year old Callum, a computer genius who's always loved working with software. At the age of eight he started work on an app and sent it off to Google. Turns out they liked it. And so did the public.
About a year after the app went live, when Callum was aged just 9, he'd already made $8.5 million. So before he'd even hit double figures, while most of his mates were saving up their pocket money for remote controlled cars and Hot Wheels, Callum suddenly found himself with the cash to buy something real.
After checking out Mustangs and M3s, he eventually decided that his first purchase had to be a Ferrari. After watching a James Bond film with a 355, Callum decided that was the car for him, mainly because it 'sounded like an F1 car' (in true youngun style, he fitted a rude boy exhaust to exacerbate the noise).
Now with more money than he knows what to do with, Callum decided it was time for more motors. Putting his 355 in for a big service, he gifted the old Fezza to his father, and splashed the cash on a 458 and 599.
Obviously being a kid he can't drive on the road, but the Prancing Horses get to stretch their legs on the track with the young lad behind the wheel.
Now admit it, you went into this wanting to hate the kid. Daddy's boy spoilt rotten. But to be fair to him, he made his own money and spent it how most of us would have done too. Young Callum, please accept a bucket load of respect from Team CT!
Update: Too Good To Be True
It turns out that this story really was too good to be true and is in fact a hoax. The FGearTV hoax was played on the channel's presenter, who had no idea this kid was making it up as he went along. Thanks to Sahil for letting us know on our Facebook page. It was fun while it lasted - enjoy the original video below.
