About 8 years ago i think they banned refueling due to a ‘making races more exciting and tactical’. Hmm

Like they did in the mid 80’s, causing most cars to coast to a halt at the end of every race.

It would make for an interesting race though. Totally down to driver ability that way.

That would completely ruin F1. The whole point of F1 is automotive development, which is why automakers like Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault enter the series.

I’m an F1 fan and I would definitely like to see refueling back. Having extra juice on tap allows the engines to rev higher, produce more power and sound better.

It also encourages balls to the wall sprint driving, instead of the utterly idiotic coasting we see now. That would make races more exciting too.

So I call for a return of refueling!

the problem is that health and safety has gotten so ott and strict, the board would say it is too dangerous after all the incidents which have happened

If the cars have 60l tanks and could burn as much as they want would be great for strategy. If they get 5l tanks and made cars go in 8th at 3000RPM until the next pit stop it will only make the races longer and even more boring.

Having tyres that don’t fall off a cliff would be helpful in making drivers drive hard.

Most drivers said that the limiting factor is not the amount of fuel they have but the tires. Go back to late 80’s or early 90’s no fuel stops ad they were going properly flat out the whole race.

refueling is not a wise idea, it would be the death of fast pit stops, it would kill the thrill in them, if they have to wait for the car to fuel up, mechanics wouldn’t have to change tires so quickly, and that would be boring. No refueling, i want loud cars, with tires that don’t die suddenly and more equality on the grid.

When i went to see F1 this last year i found out that GP2 and GP3 cars sound much better than F1 cars right now, and that their races are much more entertaining to watch rather than F1….
