I find the car physics in GTA IV to be terrible. Every car seems to lean ridiculously when you try to turn, and they handle like whales. GTA V could use a little work, but it’s MUCH better.

I’ve played GTA for years. My Vice City disc wore out from overplaying. I had multiple copies of San Andreas. When I finally got GTA IV, my first thought was “Wow, the cars handle like crap.” That thought continued over the 100-200ish hours played. When I first drove a car (on non snowy roads) in GTA V, my face lit up in joy. GTA IV was NOT realistic. If your car has that much body roll and skids that easy, you need to see a mechanic.

Dude please… GTA IV physics was far from perfect, but GTA V has no car physics at all. All the cars drive like on rails, turn fking 90 degrees without even braking. Driving in GTA V is just complete failure, like they got back in time to San Andreas. Driving in GTA IV was not perfect but you could actually feel the car and it was damn fun.

Well you can’t blame the developers, It’s not like they couldn’t do better, all the simplified game play was made to satisfy the 12 years old kids so they can have “fun” in the game.

There was small details I really liked about IV that could’ve been on V. Like the stuff npcs used to do like check there cars when it broke down or getting stuff from the trunk . Also when it rained npcs used to cover themselves and run faster to avoid getting, eventually they would start to spawn with coats and umbrellas. But what bothers me the most is that in IV the npc cars used to light up there indicators and really bothers me because the majority of cars in Gta V have them instead of reverse lights. Finally Gta v cops don’t roam around and only hangout a certain area.

GTAV is just more realistic than GTA 4. Its supposed to be like a modern day life simulation in certain situations

Am I the only one that loved to crawl trucks on rocks and hard terrain in GTA IV and was very disappointed when I couldn’t do any of that in GTA V??
