7 Interesting Things We Learned This Week

As the doors on another week come to a close, we're looking back at the things we learnt, including the fact that some poor bloke called John is a "fu**ing idiot"

This week, the ‘Pinnacle of V’ mod was released for GTA V. It gives the game near photo-realism and looks beautiful. The mod includes new weather settings and improved weapons audio and vehicle handling.

NFS gaming footage of a FWD Honda Civic drifting through corners like a lightweight RWD sports car isn’t realistic. At all. Just watch the hilarious video for what the reality is really like.

Amazon Prime Air is a futuristic drone delivery service that delivers packages in 30 minutes and under. We all got excited because of Jeremy Clarkson’s involvement in the advert and because we like to think that Amazon Prime Air will be able to deliver car parts to us more quickly than the traditional UPS truck. In reality, however, a little drone like that won’t be able to transport an engine block any time soon…

I’ve been the owner of a BMW E36 M3 for just over a week now, and my 100 miles behind the wheel have revealed some things that I love and hate about the car. These include the Vader seats which give me back pain and the fact that it doesn’t come anywhere near as close to putting a smile on my face as my humble MX-5.

Poor John (we have no idea who actually John is) had a bad time of it on the Nurburgring when his potty-mouthed passenger lost his mind after what looked like quite a minor spin. We can’t imagine that this was the epic Nurburgring lap that John was hoping for.

Footage of a Yodel delivery driver drifting a roundabout in a big white van emerged this week. Instead of people (you guys) getting angry about the fact that he might be delivering car parts, you were actually impressed by the guy’s drifting skills. His employer, on the other hand, probably didn’t share the same opinion.

Being a biker teaches you things about the road that you don’t learn from the inside of a car. These points include a greater awareness of your surroundings, knowing that regular maintenance is key, and being prepared for changing weather conditions. Read the article for more info!

If people could just stop mentioning it, either good or bad, on every single post regardless of topic that would be great.

What I learned from car throttle when I joined: I was a non-car person in the past and boy I was extremely stupid I hate that person now I’m glad I got rid of that person for life.
