8 Spectacular Car Keychains You Need In Your Life
Ever get your keys out of your pocket and wish you had something interesting to look at? Whether your pocket contains the key to a Chiron or a Civic - or no car at all - you need a cool car-related keychain or two (or three) in your life. Happily, the utterly magical CT Shop is stocked full of them.
Here are some of our favourites…
Gear shifter
Manual is best. You know that, I know that, and now, your friends will all know it too when they clock this nifty little six-speed shifter hanging off the key to your pride and joy. All six gears (plus reverse) can be selected, and it’s available in three different colours.
Note: Not suitable for Vin Diesel.
Coilover
If the gear selector doesn’t satisfy your need to fiddle, how about this? Available in five colours, this working coilover is weirdly satisfying to compress while you’re dreaming of your next real-life suspension upgrade.
Turbocharger
While we won’t recommend stickng an 850psi shot of nitrous through one of these, they are a cool accessory to have hanging off your keys. Choose from either the standard turbo, a turbo whistle, and - my personal favourite - the electric turbo.
Available with three different finishes, it charges via an included USB cable, and actually spins up, making a blow-off noise when you let go of the button. Neat.
Wheels
The split rim style keychain in the CT Shop looks great, but with five other wheel designs available, you shouldn’t have much trouble finding the right kind of rim for your keys.
Brake
This nifty brake disc looks cool enough on its own, but unlike whatever Jesse had fitted to his VW Jetta that time, this actually comes with a calliper. The disc moves freely through the calliper too, which is cool.
Blow-off valve
If the other items on this page seem a little obvious, this blow-off valve should be right up your street. What better way to tell who’s a petrolhead, and who isn’t? If your friends don’t know what it is, they’re no longer your friends. It’s better that way…
Piston
If the blow-off valve test seems a bit harsh, here’s a component we hope most should be able to identify. The piston keychain also comes with a moveable con rod for that extra little dash of detail.
Bucket seat
And finally, for some very simple, but very effective. This natty little red bucket seat keychain is perfect for adding a little colour to your humdrum bunch of keys.
Comments
These keychains can make a car.
Buy enough of these and you might just have yourself a tiny car 😃
Had that piston one, broke after a month or 2
Too much boost I guess
Hey CT! I just wanted to make a suggestion, There are key chains on Auto Art that could be in the Car Throttle shop. There are even car keychains.

Wheel, coilover, and blowoff valve are on my wanted list.
Turbo i want to send nitrus up that thing
Can you use them in building a miniature project car?
MAKE IT POSSIBLE!!!
Make it funcional too
When you’re not old enough for car parts, but you still want to look at stuff you want.
Or at least if you can’t afford ‘em.
If only the coilover didn’t break every 30 seconds like mine… Or is that Alex’s touch?
Mine did too…
Does anyone know if the turbo whistle actually sound like a turbo?
Are the wheels metal or painted plastics?
There are aluminium keyring wheels but i recommend using plastic because you don’t want anything heavy dangling from your ignition because it causes wear to your key and the cylinder.
