The United Sportscar Championship was at Road America last weekend. It was a crazy race, with a brilliantly chaotic finish – spins, contact and cars off track. Dane Cameron and Eric Curran took victory for Action Express Racing, with Bruno Junqueira and Chris Cumming winning the PC class for RSR Racing.

Nick Tandy and Patrick Pilet were triumphant in GTLM, while Jeroen Bleekemolen and Ben Keating won in GTD for Riley Motorsports.

Joey Logano won the Nascar Sprint Cup race at Watkins Glen, after passing Kevin Harvick on the last lap as his rival ran out of fuel. He completed some pretty epic burnouts and donuts afterwards, so many that his car actually caught fire. Fortunately the damage was only minor.

Denny Hamlin suffered a scare when his car’s hood flew up during the Sprint Cup race. He could still see some of the track, but eventually had to pit for repairs.

Kenny Habul was hit hard during the Nascar Xfinity race at Watkins Glen, and his car then set fire when parked in the pits. Awkward.

Logano took a clean-sweep, also winning the Xfinity round. There was drama afterwards when Regan Smith and Ty Dillon were involved in a pit lane fight. Just Nascar things.
