This week, it was rumoured that Apple was in talks with McLaren about a possible takeover. The reports were soon quashed by McLaren itself, and while that doesn’t rule out the possibility entirely, it’s probably best it doesn’t happen. After all, who knows what sort of ‘innovations’ Apple might bring to the McLaren stable given the chance.

Story broke today. Yahoo managed to confuse McLaren with the DeLorean Motor Company. They even made back to the future references in their story, claiming that the McLaren had been ‘immortalised’ by the 1985 Robert Zemeckis Sci Fi flick.

I wonder how many people know McLaren as well as say Lambo or Ferrari. Most people I know know Lambo and Ferrari but when you say McLaren, they say “excuse me?” -_-
