This week, it was rumoured that Apple was in talks with McLaren about a possible takeover. The reports were soon quashed by McLaren itself, and while that doesn’t rule out the possibility entirely, it’s probably best it doesn’t happen. After all, who knows what sort of ‘innovations’ Apple might bring to the McLaren stable given the chance.

Mandatory software updates, can’t drive the car until you update. Then after update occurs, the car shuts down with no sign of life and you have to buy another. Just as your lawsuit about the update that killed your car is about to to go to court, it is magically “fixed” but now you have bought two cars.
