This Amazing Aussie V8s Moment Is Corner Commitment Done Right
Supercars driver James Courtney put on an amazing display of commitment during the Shootout round of last weekend's Gold Coast 600
Scott McLaughlin may have won the Gold Coast 600 round of the Australia Supercars series, but if there were a prize for âballsiest momentâ, the victor surely would have been James Courtney.
The 37-year-old showed amazing commitment at Surfers Paradise Street Circuitâs beach chicane during the Shootout round, coming incredibly close to hitting the wall. We challenge you to watch the video above without clenching hard.
Courtney bagged fourth in the Shootout, finishing sixth in the race. McLaughlinâs victory boosted his 2017 championship hopes meanwhile, with gap to current leader Jamie Whincup closing.

That car has some serious grip and driver has some death star sized balls!
