Audi Has Actually Made A Final Fantasy-Themed R8
Strange car/brand tie-ups are nothing new - just look at the likes of the Hyundai Tuscon Walking Dead Edition and Citroen Saxo Bic. However, the this one is particularly strange, not to mention expensive - it’s an Audi R8 with a Final Fantasy theme.
Officially called the ‘Audi R8 Star of Lucis’, it’s a one-off created by Audi Japan, featuring a floral motif splashed over various bits of trim, plus a beautiful set of ornate alloy wheels.
Audi Japan will raffle off the chance to buy the unique V10 Plus on 21 November, with the winner having to stump up 50,000,015 yen (£370,000) to secure it. Or if you’d rather stick with the game, that’s out on 29 November.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
