Behold A Nissan Micra That Looks Like A Dog, Sort Of
Let’s say you want a Nissan Micra. It’s a fine supermini; smooth and refined for what it is, simple to repair and look after, and pretty well equipped.
Maybe you’d look for one with alloy wheels, one with climate control, or maybe you’d simply want it covered in off-white artificial grass with a big black nose, a bone on the roof and a tail that sticks up out of the boot. Well, if that’s you, today is your most fortunate of days.
What you’re looking at is a 2011 Micra Visia complete with 80bhp 1.2-litre petrol engine, and yes, it does look like a dog. The decoration was ‘professional,’ apparently, although in all seriousness, how professional can an Astroturfed Micra really look?!
It’s yours for £3990 with a six-month warranty and 12 months’ AA breakdown cover, not that you’re likely to need it: this generation of Micra was a pretty solid lump.
We can say with confidence that you’re not likely to find another sub-£4000 car anywhere in the country that turns as many heads as this. Fair enough, most people will be laughing at the car/you, but at least you can drown out the hysterical howls in the entirely normal interior with the standard CD player and unspecified amount of speakers. At least it’s plural.
You don’t get many dogs that have central locking and electric windows, either, making this a rare beast. It has covered either 14,000 miles or 19,883, depending on which part of the local press coverage and listing you want to believe, but either way it shouldn’t need a nap yet.
We’d have slight reservations about what all that Astroturf is doing for the cooling properties and generally increasing stress on the engine, but with such a little motor under the bonnet, perhaps it doesn’t really matter for biffing around town.
We can only assume this utter monstrosity was customised as part of a disastrous business plan, much like the Mutt Cutts van from the Jim Carrey film Dumb and Dumber. What we know is that Platinum Car Sales, which took over the previous dealership at the Plymouth, Devon site, inherited the car from the leftover stock. Who knows how long this doggy in the window has been waiting for a new owner.
Good luck selling this, guys: you’re going to need it.

it didn’t need those “ears” on the back windows, the mirrors already look like ears, also, wouldn’t some nostrils help with cooling and look?… why the f am I thinking how to make it better?
Guess you could say, that’s a dog of a car!
Jim Carrey did it first.
I see your Micra, and I raise you a
PANDA BEETLE.
And no, you can’t kill it with fire.
A bloke in my town previously owned this and tried it as a joke, the fur is fire-resistant. You also can’t change the wheels because the genious who built this also glued fur on top of the wheelbolts.
Rika likey dis
