The owner of this E92 BMW 3-series learnt the hard what can happen when you park too close to a fire hydrant during an emergency. Smashed windows, angry firefighters, water ingress and mass shame - brought on by worldwide publicity - are all symptoms, and quite rightly so.

According to American law, cars shall not be parked nearer than 15 feet from any fire hydrant, so when firefighters were faced with this BMW while attending a massive blaze in East Boston this week, they did what they had to do.
Let this BMW owner's inattentiveness be a lesson to us all.
