Breaking: 5-Series Gran Turismo Pics Leak!

BMWBlog has leaked the first actual pictures of BMW's 5-Series Gran Turismo (GT) Concept! Dubbed to be in the "Progressive Activity Sedan", the 5-Series GT Concept joins some other recent weird segment blurring vehicles (X6, I'm looking at you).

 Say hello to the next generation 5-Series ! I'm pleased to see that it's styled in the mould of BMW's recent 7-Series sedan. Smart move BMW, I love the 7-Series! This is very thinly guised, expect to see this in extremely similar production form.

The interior, other then the details and coloring, looks to be production as well. In fact, very little (if anything) is changed to the center stack and dash area.

It's certainly an odd vehicle, taking inspiration from the sedan, wagon and SUV segments. I wonder how it will go over with customers?

It's certainly a case of BMW breaking new ground here. Bizzare if you ask me! I'm just glad to see the new 5-Series front end.
