Can A Car Be Lifted Off The Ground With A Bunch Of Cable Ties?

To answer another question no one asked, the fine folk from Beyond The Press thought they'd see how many cable ties it takes to lift a car off the ground

Cable ties (or zip ties, depending on where you are in the world) are an invaluable resource for petrolheads. From tidying cables to stitching up wounded drift cars, they have countless uses, but can you lift a car clean off the ground with a bunch of them?

It’s a question I’m sure literally none of you have ever asked, but hey, if the guys from Beyond The Press (the Hydraulic Press Channel’s equally mad sister outfit) want to find out, we’ll gladly watch. We’re just not sure you should try and replicate it yourself…

Going by some cars on the road, I’m quite certain some people use them to hold the suspension together and also instead of wheel nuts.

Roadkill used zips ties to hold a smallblock v8 in place of a motor mount. between that and some customer vehicles I see, nothing surprises me.
