Chris Harris Thrashes The 'End Of An Era' Ferrari 812 Superfast On Track
The hugely powerful N/A, RWD 812 Superfast is a rarity in our increasingly turbocharged world, but is it any good?
With nearly 800bhp put to the rear wheels from a big, naturally-aspirated V12, the 812 Superfast looks like an oddity in today’s supercar landscape. With all this talk of Ferrari’s line-up going hybrid in the next few years, you can’t help but wonder if this is effectively - as Chris Harris puts it here - the “end of an era” for front-engined cars from Maranello.
The answer? We don’t know just yet. So for now, let’s just soak up all the V12 noise and tyre smoke showcased in this video.

Still won’t be more valuable after a decade than an air-cooled Porsche or stock 180sx
“Need to drive it in the UK to see what its really like” ah … he means the 1 million pot holes test.
Not as bad as south east Michigan.

The N/A V12 is in danger of extinction. To save this rare engine please call the other car companies and tell them to BRING THE N/A ENGINES BACK!
Don’t you worry mate. Mazda will rescue us all.
One thing Chris used four wheel steering to Drift this well when Keiichi Tsuchiya drifts his AE86 with normal Or power steering. All I can say is Keiichi is better.

Both are expert in their own aspects… We should not judge them.
Chris Harris can drift anything.
There’s a video of Chris drifting an E30 318 with an open diff 😂😂
I know that the old Top Gear couldn’t paint the Indian flag but that’s no reason not to know that Chris Harris can drift anything!
If this is the last V12 N/A from ferrari, will it be worth more or less than the F12 in 10-20 years?
IDK.
End of an era… well with Ferrari’s KERS system, their cars will just get faster 😎
Didn’t Marchionne say that he wants all Ferraris to be hybrids? With stricter emissions and efficiency laws, that could be the only way to save the big displacement naturally aspirated V-12s
