Classifieds' Car Of The Day: Paul Walker-Approved Mitsu Evo FQ-300

Under the microscope today is a Mitsubishi that's very close to all our hearts

Given the thoroughly depressing news, there could only be one Classifieds' Car Of The Day: and that is the Paul Walker-approved Mitsubishi Evo.

Granted, the car we've got here is an Evo VIII (not a VII as driven by the big man himself in 2 Fast 2 Furious), but this standard super-saloon's low mileage, full service history and great condition make this a steal at £6595. (By comparison, this is what you'd expect to pay for a well-looked after Evo VII as used in the second F&F installment).

Unlike the standard 276bhp car, power for the FQ-300 was upped to, you guessed it, 300bhp. Obviously, then, the FQ-300 was, and still is, a proper loon: thanks to its advanced AWD system, 62mph comes up in 5.1sec and at full tilt, you'll see 157mph. Mega.

Just 900 were made for the UK, so if you fancy one of the best, fastest and grippiest cars to grace our broken roads, then make sure you get your ass behind the wheel of something like this. (Before we beat you to it!).
