Concerned Friends Teach Serial Drink Driver A Lesson With Messed Up Coma Prank

With their friend having clocked an unenviable five charges of driving under the influence, YouTube pranksters Tom Mabe (MabeInAmerica) and Jim Clarke felt they had to act.

Wanting to prevent DUI number six, and maybe even save lives, they put together an epic prank. After their unidentified friend was found passed out at the wheel yet again, they picked him up and took him to a mocked-up hospital room.

As he wakes, the man is told that he's been in a coma for ten years due to a drunken car accident. To reinforce the ruse, he's treated to a fake TV news broadcast, in which he's told President Hillary Clinton is threatening to wage war on Canada, and that 'former' singer Miley Cyrus has been evicted from a trailer park after 'refusing to stop defecating on neighbours' yards'....

Finally, Mabe enters dressed as a doctor, his identity hidden by a surgical mask. When he removes it, his drink-driving buddy realises the whole thing is a prank. He initially appears amused, but is soon chastised (and slapped a few times...) by a furious Mabe, who urges him to learn from the experience and change his ways.

Let's hope it did the trick.
