The Confirmed Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster Will Be A 740bhp V12 Hair Re-Styler

Like the idea of the new Aventador SV, but want a better chance to soak in the noise of its 6.5-litre V12? Lamborghini has just announced something that’ll be right up your street.

Lamborghini president and CEO Stephan Winkelmann revealed at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed that there will indeed be a roof-less version of the Aventador SV. It’ll be slightly more exclusive than its tin top brother, with 500 units available against 600 for the coupe, the latter of which are all sold out.

Details are still rather limited, but it’ll almost certainly still be packing a mighty 740bhp. It’s also likely to be a tad heavier than the coupe, so we can expect the 2.8 second 0-62mph time to drop a little, although probably not by any noticeable amount.
