Of Course There's A 1200bhp C8 Chevrolet Corvette Coming From Hennessey
That didn’t take long, did it? Just a few months on from the reveal of the mid-engined C8 Chevrolet Corvette, Hennessey has announced a power upgrade for the car. A big one, at that.
Dubbed the HPE1200, the raft of changes this pack brings to the C8 will see the standard power figure more than doubled to 1200hp. A torque output hasn’t been mentioned yet, but we’ve no doubt the final number will be monstrous.
To get there, Hennessey lobs much of the C8’s new ‘LT2’ 6.2-litre V8 in the bin. Upgraded internals - including forged aluminium pistons and forged steel connecting rods then go in.
The rebuilt LT2 will be fitted with a twin-turbo system, and the factory dual-clutch gearbox will be strengthened to ensure it doesn’t explode during the first full bore launch you do. Handy.
Chassis upgrades are set to be offered too, in the form of a beefy Brembo brake kit and adjustable suspension from Penske. Finally, for anyone wanting to make sure their C8 looks like it’s packing serious clout too, it’ll be possible to choose from a range of CarbonAir aerodynamic pieces - including a splitter and a big rear wing - made from carbonfibre.
If all that sounds a tad excessive, you might prefer the supercharger system Hennessey is cooking up - it’ll provide 700bhp. Or, you could just go for the company’s planned stainless steel exhaust upgrade, which will bring with it a volume increase and a small bump in power.
The company - which has modified around 500 C7 Corvettes - says that it has already received 250 questionnaires from customers interested in C8 upgrades. Work will start on the first cars next year.

But will it actually be made?
There are actual C7 Corvettes still waiting to be made.
Fraud machine.
Did they build any exorcists?
What?
The first tuned c8 will be April 2568
I love that we can have roof scoops that do more than just look cool on my front-engined NSFU build.
More like, C8 ZR1
they built a rocketship.. too bad they wont build any for the customers, im looking at all the C7’s that still haven’t been built
And the Vipers.
There are multiple claims against this company that usually over promise and under delivery.
Not sure how many cars are in their long waist-list for multiple years…..
I really hope they can deliver on that promise.
From what I’ve heard about the company I wouldn’t put a single dime in their hands if I had the money
