Crazy Earthquake/Tsunami In-Car Footage

When the Tohoku earthquake ripped through Japan in March 2011 - the most powerful in Japan's history at a magnitude of 9.03 - it also triggered a Ronnie Coleman-sized tsunami which ripped six miles inland with waves measuring up to 40 metres high! Around 16,000 people died and 1,00,000 buildings were either damaged or destroyed.

And while we've all seen the images and partial footage of the damage, this video shows the devastation as it unfolds. Watch below where the powerful earthquake shakes cars and people to the ground, followed closely by the devastating onslaught of the sea.
