CT Poll: Audi TT RS Plus Or Porsche Cayman R?

This week on Car Throttle we've been behind the wheel of two of the hottest sports cars currently on sale. Both the Audi TT RS Plus and the Porsche Cayman R feature well over 300bhp and will hit upwards of 170mph.

We’ve given you our thoughts on each street-legal race car, but in true X Factor style, only you can decide the title holder. To help you, we’re handing over to 'our Graham' who will guide you through the nominees, before you vote in our poll at the end:

Contestant #1: Audi TT RS Plus

From Germany, the Audi TT RS Plus is the most powerful and fastest of the two, and features quattro four-wheel drive for limitless grip, class-leading traction and a turbocharged exhaust note to make you go "Oooohhhh!"

It's pretty too, unquestionably admirable, and utterly addictive to drive. But £50k for a jumped up Audi? We'll let you decide on that one...

Contestant #2: Porsche Cayman R

Also from Germany, the Porsche Cayman R's lighter weight, rear-wheel drive and mid-engined layout ensure unrivaled poise, guaranteed dirty drifting and admiring glances from onlookers.

Our Cayman R's six-speed manual gearbox also proved the more rewarding to use (vs Audi's seven-speed S-Tronic gearbox), while its steering is that bit tighter, too.
