Daniil Kvyat Has Been Replaced By Max Verstappen At Red Bull Racing

Just a few weeks ago, Daniil Kvyat was standing on the podium after finishing third at the Chinese Grand Prix. But things didnât quite go so well in Russia last weekend and now heâs found himself back in a Toro Rosso seat.
Kvyat hit Sebastian Vettel twice on the opening lap of the Russian Grand Prix in Sochi and the collisions also had a big impact on team-mate Daniel Ricciardoâs race, causing Red Bull to lose vital points in the championship.

Despite his good form at the previous few races, Red Bull has taken the brutal decision of demoting him back to Toro Rosso, the team he made his F1 debut with in 2014. He will be replaced at the top team by Max Verstappen.
The Dutchman has proved to be one of F1âs hottest rising stars, after a thrilling first year in 2015 with Toro Rosso and a feisty start to this season. With Ferrari and Mercedes potentially being interested in snatching Verstappen, Red Bull has opted to promote him to a top drive.
Christian Horner explained in a statement that all four drivers at the two teams are on long-term Red Bull contracts and can be changed around without issue. The driver switch comes into force with immediate effect, with Verstappen debuting as a Red Bull driver in Spain.

Horner said:
âMax has proven to be an outstanding young talent. His performance at Toro Rosso has been impressive so far and we are pleased to give him the opportunity to drive for Red Bull Racing. We are in the unique position to have all four drivers across Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso under long term contracts with Red Bull, so we have the flexibility to move them between the two teams. Dany will be able to continue his development at Toro Rosso, in a team that he is familiar with, giving him the chance to regain his form and show his potential.â
What do you think? Too harsh? Deserved? Is Max ready for Red Bull? Let us know below!

Nothing is ver-stappen max now
Ive seen vids on Youtube of âF1 Legendsâ doing stupid things and sometimes even intentionally and no one really cares,Kvyat f*cked up once and has to be dropped at Toro Rosso ?
Come on nowâŠ
No pressure then, Max Verstappen. No pressure.
Kvyat had one bad race and red bull rush to demote him to toro roso while he won ric last year and deliverded a podium this yearâŠan unfair move by redbull to promote the guy that started a fight with his teamate a couple races ago. F1 teams do not change middle season unless there is a serious problemâŠand there wasnt anyâŠ.shame on redbull (ferrari fan here)
If they had put the best driver in the TR spot instead of the one with money this wouldnât happen.
Donât agree at all with this. Verstappen is amazing, and does some crazy maneuvers. But Kvyat is a beast, and is more consistent. Rushed decision by Red Bull :/
NO!
This is such bullshit. A guy gets out of form for one race and you demote him. He was on podium in last gp. This is so wrong. At least this shouldnât have happened mid season. Thumbs up red bull for trying to degrade confidence of the rookies!!
Red Bull said âno Maldonado for us.â
Totally unfair on Kvyat, if he was driving for any other team, this wouldnât be the outcome, how many times did Maldonado crash into people? Not denying that Verstappen deserves the seat, but to replace him over an incident like that in Russia is just downright petty and an excuse to get rid of him. Iâm sorry but Red Bull have been the real dicks with this
