Devel Sixteen Dyno Run Shuts Every Sceptic Up By Proving It's Really Got Over 4500hp

When we first learned about a new superhypercar called the Devel Sixteen two years ago, we, and much of the world's media called BS on the car's 5000hp figure. Now, it's Devel that's got the last laugh...

While these figures check out on the dyno, it’ll be interesting to see how that power is transferred to the huge rear wheels, and indeed, how reliable this engine will really be. Also, will the Devel Sixteen be able to hit its claimed 348mph top speed? Watch this space…

It’s impressive but it looks flimsy to me. I guess if you’re a rich arab with a super car collection it’s a nice addition but not for me.

Thats because it’s a sham. This thing is made out of cardboard and has no aerodynamic ability at all. There was a video of a dude washing it at an auto show and the windshield wipers came off just from a light touch. This thin is for rich suckers who want to buy into the Bugatti horsepower hype.

I sure hope the tires can handle all that power also the brakes better be made of space age stuff as well.

Wasn’t that one of the issues that they had with the Veyron? (I could be wrong)…Will be very interesting to see how the tyres stay on the rims let alone put any of that power down. There’s going to be epic 11’s all over Dubai O_O (providing this is even real)

I don’t need just one LS to swap, I need 2 twin-turbo LS motors now.

3519 Torque @6600 rpm. Seems legit…
Yeah, nice number but in which unit?
I guess it must be in Newton metres (N·m), but I wouldn’t want an engine whose builder fails to mention something as simple as that.

Love how ‘dyno could not handle any more power over 4515hp’ sounds. Reminds me of how the Tesla Model S broke crash test equipment. Cars breaking benchmarks
