Keep up the good work! When I would have a turbocharged car I would try this turbo blanked application. I can see that studies in this field have been done. Quick question though:
Would this cause your turbocharger to overheat if you’re running it constantly at max boost? Since you’re technically keeping the heat on the turbocharger (The Evo X has a hood scoop that directs airflow over the turbo and down into the slipstream under the car, this would be constantly drawing cool air through, but the heat blanket would block off the turbo from this air) instead of letting the surrounding air cool it?
Overheat *faster that without the turbo blanket I should add
