The Dodge Demon Will Use Air Conditioning To Make More Angry American Horses

The latest Challenger SRT Demon teaser details the car's liquid-to-air charge cooler, which will increase power by dramatically lowering the intake air temperature

Good news everyone! What we have here is Dodge Challenger SRT Demon teaser number 12. Yes, we have already seen 12 of these damn teasers - which we’re kinda obliged to post up even though we hate ourselves a little more each time we do - but reaching number 12 means there are just two more to go.

With the car’s New York Auto Show debut looming, Dodge has released a video titled ‘No Ice’, along with information about the car’s “liquid-to-air charge air cooler chiller system”. When the car is punched into drag mode, it diverts the interior air condition system to the charge cooler, dramatically reducing the temperature of the intake air.

Dodge says this will “make the engine perform like it is running in the cold Alaskan air, even after a day of runs down the strip on a hot summer day”. Lovely. Now please hurry up and reveal the whole damn car…

Now I know why it’s called the Demon. The number of teasers is frightening.

Honestly, I don’t even think most Ddges have overheating problems.
Certain Italian companies, however…

It isn’t necessarily an overheating problem. Thermodynamic systems operate more efficiently if you have a lower cooling temperature, which means that for the same amount of combustion you would produce more hp

It would start with the stripper seductively removing her left earring for 13 minutes.
