Dodge Durango SRT Costs Almost As Much As A Hellcat

Despite weighing about the same as Arkansas and having the aerodynamics of a high-rise building, the mighty Dodge Durango SRT can dispatch a standing quarter-mile in 12.9 seconds. Dodge says that’s a ‘wicked fast’ time on the strip, and we’re not going to argue.
Power comes from a 392ci (6.4-litre) Hemi V8, kicking out 475bhp and giving the ‘Rango a 0-60mph time of just 4.4 seconds. It’s the fastest three row SUV out there, and can haul nearly four tonnes. Now, we know how much all that will cost.
To get your hands on America’s fastest barn, you’ll need to stump up $62,995 (MSRP), about $1200 shy of a Challenger Hellcat. But you’re not exactly going to fit six people in one of those.
For $5 under $63k, you’ll get some new, meaty-looking body kit bits, red leather seats, an eight-speed automatic gearbox specifically tuned for the SRT and some enormous Brembo brakes. Oh, and you’ll also get a full-day session at a high-performance driving school thrown in too. Presumably Dodge wants most of its Durango SRTs to stay on the road.
There are other goodies, too. Despite this being a full-size, three-row SUV, it comes with a Track mode that shifts gears in 160 milliseconds (that’s half the time it takes to blink) and sends 70 per cent of the power rearward. The speedo now goes up to 180mph, and the suspension has been stiffened up.
It’ll go on sale towards the end of this year.

Now Dodge.
Put the HELLCAT ENGINE IN IT.
RIGHT NOW.
Please.
So now your soccer mom can have a similar priced dodge as your dad.
6.4L, not 6.2L
It doesn’t come with a Manual?? I am sad
Well a new Tahoe is like 80,000 and I’d much rather like this.
At least it will turn corners unlike a hellcat.
For the LAST TIME!!! IT IS NOT THE FASTEST THREE ROW SUV BECAUSE IT IS NOT FASTER THAN THE BENTLEY BENTAYGA WHICH COMES WITH A THIRD ROW ON BOTH THE V8 AND W12
France: We’re going to ban the sale of petrol vehicles within 23 years.
America: HEY GUYS, HOW ABOUT WE MAKE A 475 BHP SUV?
not surprising since the Jeep SRT is about 60+
Can I slid it on the ice please
