Don't Judge, But We're Geeking Out On This Neat Windscreen Washer Funnel Design
At the risk of sounding spectacularly nerdy, this is a neat little design, isn’t it? It’s Skoda’s latest ‘Simply Clever’ solution (previous efforts include fuel filler cap-mounted ice scrapers, neat boot dividers and a phone/key holder storage device that slots into the cup holder), and it’s so, erm, simple and clever, that it’s a wonder no one has thought of it before.
Looks fairly ordinary in the image above, but pop it open, and boom: as you can see below, it becomes a neat little funnel.
If you’ve ever misjudged with a full bottle of screen wash and slopped a load of the stuff down the side of the filler neck and into the 10mm socket-sucking abyss that is your engine bay, you’ll appreciate this little invention.
It’ll be available first on the new Scala hatchback, before being rolled out to other models eventually.
