Having owned a 87’ BMW E30 325i i would say it is in many ways better than the M3. Yeah its not as rare nor is it as good to drive as the M3, but it looks better (the M bodykit looks a bit ridiculous) and the engine note of a BMW straight six is unbeatable. Furhermore it is the last generation which looks could be described as clasically elegant. Of course M3 fans will disagree, and its hard to compare the European and US spec, but honestly I could not say a bad word about this car, for a sunday evening cruise it was fantastic. That said I have not driven a US spec 325e which could be sh**
