Drunk Driver Confesses To Killing A Man In Poignant YouTube Video
Now I don't know about you, but the drink drive adverts I've seen in my time (especially around the Christmas festivities) haven't always resonated with me. I know drinking and driving is wrong, but I understand that, no matter how many adverts we see telling us that we'll lose our jobs if we're caught, people will continue to drink and people will continue to drive drunk.
The video below is the first time the effects of drinking and driving has really hit home for me. It's a self-confession video of a man (Matthew Cordle) who killed another man when he crashed his car into his victim's. While Cordle's told by lawyers that he can go free if he lies, his ethical code denies him that freedom. He has killed a man and he will hold himself accountable.
This poignant self-confession video will resonate with you. It will also - rather uncomfortably - make you admire this killer's bravery and respect for the man's life which he cut short...RIP Vincent Canzani.
