This Is Easily The Coolest Desk Chair For Car Guys
Considering how much time the majority of us car guys actually spend in front of a monitor, it's a surprise that we put up with sitting on mediocre desk chairs for eight hours a day. Looking at my chair now, I see and feel no lumbar support and don't even have bolsters to hold me in tight when I see stuff like this.
So when I spotted a thread on reddit.com/r/cars titled 'My new computer chair' I couldn't resist looking, despite knowing that I'd soon be consumed with envy.
The chair you see above (not my one, obviously), features some fantastic details. The seat itself is a comfortable-looking bucket seat, which sits atop a big, drilled and vented brake disc, with attached brake calliper. The stem that runs from seat to base is cloaked by a suspension spring, while the arm rests are finished off with a tyre tread design.
Further standout features include a height adjustability lever that's topped off with a six-speed manual transmission gear knob , while the chair rollers look like mini alloy wheels. The price for all this? According to the thread's OP, he paid 450CDN $, which equates to £285. Would you?
