Following the reveal of the updated M4, BMW has given the M3 a similarly subtle tweak

After giving the M4 a little nip and tuck, BMW has revealed a refreshed version of the M3. At least we think that’s what it is - it’s rather hard to tell.
The changes are limited to the headlights only, which - as with the M4 - are now posh LED items. Unlike the M4 though, the rear light clusters are unchanged, as those were swapped out for the 2015 facelift.

Everything under the skin remains as-is, which means 424bhp on tap from a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-six, or 444bhp with the Competition Pack optioned.
Expect it to go on sale shortly after the refreshed 4-series range in March.

,Even though they have the same width track the m3 has a wide body kink while the m4 has a rounded bulge at the rear of the car
