We’re guessing probably not, but in any case, Newport Convertible Engineering - the same Californian firm responsible for dubious drop-top conversions like this Nissan GT-R effort - decided the world needs an open-top Model S, and has reportedly sold quite a few converted cars in China. We’re now able to see the results, as what is most likely one of Newport’s convertible Teslas has been spotted on US roads.
