This Ferrari 355/Citroen 2CV Hybrid Is Truly Epic
This is not a dream. The car you see here is in fact a Ferrari 355 with the body - albeit custom-made - of a Citroen 2CV van.
The Ferrari 2CV (or Citrrari as it's otherwise known) is the work of Italian tuning house Nimik. The cost of the project came in at around £155,000, with 1500 hours taken to make it.
Thanks to the Ferrari's chassis and 375bhp mid-mounted V8 engine, the 'world's fastest 2CV' will hustle its way to 62mph in around 5.0sec.
While the Ferrari F355 is good for a top speed of 186mph, we're guessing the extra drag caused by the 2CV body will reduce top end by around 20mph. But a 165mph 2CV is still pretty good going, right? Lest we forget that its new 375bhp heart equates to a power increase of 1193 per cent over the van's standard 29bhp figure.
Impressed? Wait until you see the thing in action and answer us one question. This, or the Lambo-engined Fiat 500 we showed you recently?
